She loves...
This project was so inspired by my friend Niki at ScappinMojo. She did an amazing Valentine girl and I just had to make something too.
Do you ever make something and then wish you could to something over? I really like how my girl turned out, but I so wish I would have moved the words over to the right about a .5" more. :( Oh, well...
Thanks for looking!

January Christmas Card
When I make cards, I almost always make six of the same thing. Well, this one has been a true work in the making. I have everything cut out, colored, stickled, stamped, painted and ready to go. Now just to decide if I like it.
I think it needs something. I've added a button, ribbon, string, more snowflakes and nothing seems to make is look done to me. Maybe it will grow on me if I keep looking at it. LOL

I'm in LOVE!
I'm in love, I'm in love, I'm in love and I don't care who knows it.
Yes, I watched Elf one too many times before Christmas.
As you know, I love making SheArt girls. Well, now I love making them ATC size! Look at this...
She has a hairband! I was thrilled that it turned out! The words were in the book that I am using to create the face, arms, and legs. There were so many possibilities for sayings that I had a hard time deciding what one I wanted to use. Hopefully, waiting will be in the book two more times, as I want all of these three girls to begin She waited...
Here is what the back looks like.
This swap is going to be so much fun!!! Wait until you get to making these! They are super fun! Yes, that came from Legally Blond. LOL

One Little Word
This year, I want to live every day to the fullest. We are not promised tomorrow, so the word I have chosen is Today. This little box is going to sit in my bathroom by my make-up so I can see it every day.
Here is a picture from the side.
Thanks for looking and I hope everyone has a Happy and Healthy New Year!

Stocking
At school we had a stocking decorating contest. I was surprised at the amount of teachers that participated. There were 22 stockings for the kids to vote on as being the best. The stocking that won lit up! Talk about being competative! Anyway, here is my stocking. Can you tell, I just love making these kids?
Thanks for looking!

She Art Girl
This is the last girl I wanted to make for Christmas. She came together really quickly once I had what I wanted her to say. This is for my friend at school who takes beautiful photographs.
There are things about her I really like and things I wish I did differently. Did you see the boots? They are made out of a fuzzy artificial leaf. I paper pieced the camera which is kind of plain, but I like the straps. The hair did not turn out like I had hoped, but I like the way it falls over her face.
Well, thanks for looking and Merry Christmas!

Christmas Ornaments
Here are a couple watercolor ornaments that I made based upon the class "The 12 Artsy Ornaments." There were a lot of fun to make.
This one if my favorite.
And here they are both together.
Thanks for looking! Now I need to work on my Christmas cards.

Ornaments
Here is what I have done so far. I LOVE making these and will probably do more soon. I want to try them on a piece of paper and not just on canvas.
I tried to take a couple close-up images, but for some reason they won't upload. I will try again later, but for now this is all I have.
Thanks for looking!

Last two...for now...
Yes, I really, really enjoy making these girls. I am giving most of these away as Christmas presents. I have two more in progress and one at school that I am working on with my girls. Hopefully, there will be time tonight to start on my Christmas girl.
And here is the last one. I like the way she turned out and yet there is something about her that rubs me the wrong way.
Thanks for taking the time to look. Have a great day!

A couple more girls...
Here are a couple more girls I wanted to show you. I purchased a couple 12x12 canvases today for my Christmas girl. At Michael's they had them on sale, buy one and get one free. I paid 7.00 for four 12x12s. That was a pretty good deal!
Anyway, here are my girls....
This was my very first girl. I really like the way she turned out.
I can't decide if I am finished with this one. I think the background is too bare. What do you think? Be honest....
One more and then off to fix dinner. Doug is having steak and baked potatoes. I am not sure what I am having.
This one is one of my favorites. I wanted her to say...She wanted to grow old with him, but it made me too sad.
Thanks for looking! Are you surprised that I have actually posted something?
More girls...
I so enjoy working on these SheArt girls. I can go to my craft room for just 20-30 minutes in the evening and forget about everything.
This girl says...She felt loved by her family
Here is another one. She was one of the first ones that I made. Now that I look at her, I really don't like the way all the "stuff" turned out on the left. I tried to add dimension. She says...She delights in mystery. I made her for a friend of mine that LOVES to read. It is going to be a Christmas present...maybe.
One more for today and then I need to get ready to go. Carley is already in the shower and I am still in my nightgown. hahaha This is one that I made with Katey and Olivia at school. There is sheet music in the background. If you need a piece for a Christmas Carol angel, please let me know. I can send you a piece of Christmas music. She says...She trusts in God.
More to come! You will probably think I am crazy, but I still have five more to post. hahaha

SheArt Girls
Here are the girls I have been working on for a while now. I keep going back to them and adding something here and something there, so I can't offically say that any of them are done except for this one. She is my favorite and I love her.
She sees the beauty in every single snowflake
I know you will probably think I am crazy, but here are the others.
