Kit Club Reveal

Last month, I was invited to join a small but FUN kit club!  Each month, one of the members sends everyone in the club a small kit to use to create with.  Here is the kit I received.  Hopefully, Joni does not mind that I "stole" her picture since I did not think to take a picture of the kit first!  It was so bright and fun, I jumped right in!

This kit came from Mara, so THANK YOU!!!  Anyway, since the papers are double sided it was tough deciding which side to use!  Here is the first card.  It is the first time I have ever used baker's twine!  Mara, please don't fall over when you read that part.  Remember, I have been out of the scrapping world for about a year and a half.  As you can see, I used one of the tags on the card.

Here is the second card that I made.  There are so many goodies left, that I am sure I will make yet another!  The papers were so cute, cute, cute.

Thank you for looking and if you want to pop on over to the other girls in the kit club, here are the links.  It is so much fun to see what everyone else created with the same kit!

Sorry I am the last one to get mine posted.

At ScrappinMojo, we have been having an online crop!  It has been so much fun!  Here are the envies I made for the envelope challenge.  These were so much fun, that I can see myself doing more in the future!

Thanks for looking!

Crayon Art

I saw these on pinterest and thought...I could do that.  Anyway, I mentioned it to my two friends at school and this is what we created.

The first thing we did was glue the crayons down with a glue gun.

Then we melted the crayons with a heat gun.

We had nice pictures of each step, but I could not get them off my camera.  This is Olivia's fire creation.

Here is Katey's sunset over the ocean.  It is upside down.  The pinks need to be at the top.

Here is my camo!  LOL  It was suppose to be flower stems, but we will see.  I am going to add some scrapbook flowers to it when I get home and see if I like it.

Thanks for looking and thank you Olivia for taking the pictures!

Today....

This has been a very frustrating day.  I have a TON of school work to do and nothing seems to be coorperating.  The tech. guy from school installed a new program on my computer.  I need to enter all my kids and a ton of tests into the program.  However, the program will not allow me to open the section I need to add my kids.

After reaching my limit on my aggrevating scale, I decided to scrap.  I made a few things for the challenges at Scrappin Mojo.

Here is my tag for Joni's tag challenge.

This is the card I made for Diane's challenge.  It was to use word art and the word love.  I hope this card fits the challenge, if not, I have my card done for my daughter for Valentine's Day.

And here is the card I made for my own Christmas Card challenge.  I only made three, so I will be making another card for this month.  My goal is to make at least six (6) Christmas cards every month.

Thanks for looking and I can't wait for some more scrapping time.  It makes me feel so much better!

February Christmas Challenge

I know this is a Valentine Card, but it is the perfect inspiration for my February Christmas Card Challege at ScrappinMojo.

My challenge this month is to use either white background, book paper, one color, OR paint on your cards.  Please post a picture of your creation on the February Creation's thread.  By the way, I did not make this card, but found it on Pinterest!!!

Come on ladies!  Don't get behind!  Keep making those Christmas Cards!!!
