It's reveal time!

There are four ladies in our group and we take turns sending out a card kit each month.  We are to use the materials in that kit to create at least one card and then share it on a specific date.  July was Joni's month.  She put together a fun kit for us to use.

She also sent us a digi image that we could use.  Joni is very creative and has come up with some of the cutest girls ever!  I made a card using her, but will save it for last as it is my favorite.

Here are the cards I created.

In the kit, Joni sent us strips of white fabric along with a link to a tutorial on making fabric flowers.  Well, I'm addicted!  I love making them.  They are so much fun!!!

I also made this card.  Yes, I entered this card in last week's FWF over at Unity, so you may have seem this one before.

And, here is the last one...my favorite.  The papers are from Christy Tomlinson's SheArt line, so in true Christy style, I paper pieced her dress.

Thanks for stopping by!  Please stop by the other gal's blogs to see how they used the kit.  It is always so much fun to see how everyone used the kit differently.  Next month is my month.  I already have the kits put together and ready to mail.
Here are the links to their blogs.  They live on the West coast so it may be later today when they get their things published, but trust me, they will be worth seeing!

CAS card

WOW!  Two shares in one day!  It rained today and was the perfect day to create.  I also found a couple challenge blogs that really inspired me.  Over at CASology, they give you one word and they you go with it.  This weeks word is "happy."

Over at Fab 'n' Funky, they have the challenge to make your own flowers.  My friend Joni hooked me onto making these fabric flowers!  They are very addictive.

Here is a close up of my flower.  It isn't even blurry!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!

Friends with Flair

You gotta love Fridays and Friends with Flair over at Unity Stamps!  I so love seeing what everyone creates!

I am in a little group of ladies that sends each other a card kit each month.  This month it was my BFFs turn and she sent me a fabulous little kit to play with.  Our reveal date is the 25th, so please don't tell that I am posting one of my creations early.

Here is one of the cards that I created using Unity Stamps.  The stamps set is called Good Times and is a itty bitty set.  Don't you just LOVE those!

Here is a close up of the butterfly.  It is a little blurry as I am not a very good photographer.  LOL

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Monochromatic Challenge

What a fun challenge!  Over at Christmas Card Challenges this week they are having a challenge where you make a card using monochromatic colors this week.  Here is the card I made for the challenge.  I used a paint strip, thread, and lilybee design patterned paper.

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Friends with Flair at Unity Stamps

OK.  Someone posted on their blog that Friends with Flair is addicting and they are RIGHT!!!  It is so fun to share cards with the gals at Unity and see all their fabulous creations.

This week, I gave myself an additional challenge.  I only allowed myself to use what was on my scraptable for this card including the stamp.

Here is what I created.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great FRIDAY!

Unity Card Share

I have a friend at church that always seems to get dumped.  As you know, I am in LOVE with Unity Stamps and when I saw this stamp set, I immediately thought of her and wanted to make her this card.  I am not sure if you can tell from the picture, but the button has silver flecks all through it.

The itty bitty stamp set is called Silver Lining.  Don't you just love the itty bitty sets?  :)

Anyway, this is just a quick share.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Card Kit Reveal!

Thanks Mara for the fun kit!  It was so inspirational that I whipped these two cards up in less than an hour!

In case you don't know what I am talking about, I am in a group of ladies that send each other a card kit each month.  Here is what Mara sent me.

Then, we set a date to reveal our created cards and today is the day for this month.  Here are the two cards I made with this cute kit.

Now, if you would like to check out what the other ladies created, please follow the links below.  They will have links on their blogs too so you won't have to keep coming back to mine.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you check out the other ladies in our group. They are so creative that I am sure you will be amazed at that they create.

Just so you know, these girls all live on the west coast, so they won't have their creations posted until later.  At this minute, they are all still asleep in bed.  shhhhh..... we don't want to wake them. :)
