Don't you just love Pinterest!  Whoever created it...THANK YOU!!!

I love the look of white-on-white and with Christmas coming, I thought it would make a lovely card.  Of course, I had to break out the embossing folders which was perfect for the challenge over at I Did it Creations Challenge Blog and Gingerloft Challenge Blog.

October Card Kit Reveal

We are off an running with another round of our Card Kit group!  We have added a few more people, so this is so much fun!!!  It was fun before, but now it is double the fun!

With six people participating, we divided the group into two groups of three.  This month, I was in Joni's group.  She sent out this kit.  Look at all this yummyness!  LOL  I don't know if that is a word, but it sure fits.

Here is what I created.

and this....

These are refrigerator magnets that I thought would be cute to put on my board at school.

Thanks Joni for such a fun and wonderful kit!   Beth sent out the other kit and I can't wait to see what she sent.  Her kits are always so full of all kinds of goodies.  If you want to check out everyone in our group, here are the links.  The first two are the other ladies in my group and the other three are from Beth's group.  You should be able to "bounce" from blog to blog by following the links.  If not, you can come back there and click the links.  As soon as I get Diane's, I will link it up, but until then you can enjoy the others.

Meet LizArd

This year, I have a couple new guests in my classroom.  One of my students brought in two fence lizards.  I didn't even know that these lizards were native to our area.  They can grow up to 6" long!

We have had a time with them as over a break, they got out of the tank.  Someone had moved the logs and they climbed out.  We found one the same day we came back but the other one we thought must have gotten back outside.  Almost a week later, another student found in two classrooms down!!!  My students were so excited that we got them both back.  Anyway, I would like for you to meet.....

Liz.  She is the pig of the two and eats crickets like mad!  One day she ate seven in a row.  She is about three inches long from nose to tip of tail.

This is Ard.  He is the runt of the two.  He is only about 1.5" long and does not eat near as much.  We don't know if that is because Liz eats it all or he just does not need as much food.  hahaha  Ard has had a tough time with his tail.  He lost part of it in the wild and then again in the tank.  We are not sure what happened, but think Liz might have thought it was food.

They both really like each other and "cuddle" at night.  Sometimes, Liz will use Ard as a pillow.   I will keep you posted on them.  They have been so much fun and the kids seem to really love them.

September Kit Reveal!

With August being so busy, we decided to move our August reveal date to September.

This was my month to host and I had so much fun putting this kit together.

Here is what I created.

First I made this card.  I wanted to use the ribbon as I have seen other use it and always like the way it looks.

I also made this gift box.  It would be fun to fill it with candy and leave it on someone's desk as a nice little surprise.

Here is a close up of my flowers!  I am getting better!!!

Thanks for looking and please check out the other ladies in our group.  Here are the links to their blogs.  Enjoy!!!

Friday Friends with Flair!

Is it Friday again?  My, my, my time sure does fly.  Which brings up the question?  Have you made any Christmas cards yet?  It will be here before you know it!

Here are the ones I made this week.  Of course, I used my Unity Stamps and love how they turned out.

Have you tried these before?  They are wonderful for doing multiple colors on one stamp.  They are so "juicy" that you can color several different colors on one stamp before it dries.  I LOVE them!  I always love finding something new and wonderful, so I hope you don't mind that I shared.

Anyway, thanks for looking and I hope you have a great FRIDAY!!!

Another card share...

Don't you just love all the great challenge blogs out there?

This week, I came across a few that I just could not resist.  At Inky Impressions, they have a challenge where you are to use dies or punches.  Now, how easy is that?

At Paper Take Weekly, they have a challenge called "make your own."  This challenge was perfect for me because I have been trying and trying to make paper flowers.  After several videos and tons of trial and errors, I finally ended up with something I was willing to share.

As always, thanks for looking and coming up with all these GREAT challenges!

Card Share

I made a couple cards today while waiting for the storm.  I made this card for CASology where the cue card this week is Fruit.  I had this patterned paper on my desk that it worked perfectly!  The sentiment reads, "an apple a day keeps the doctor away, but if the doctor is cute forget the fruit!"  LOL

At Fab 'n' Funky, their challenge is no stamped images.  At first that sounded difficult, but it really is a fun challenge!

Thanks for looking and all the work that goes into maintaining a challenge blog!
