I added texture by putting flocks on the hat and making it oh, so soft.

Friends with Flair

Hello fellow crafters!  Don't you just love Friends with Flair!  Anyway, here is the latest card I made using my Unity stamps.  I am so in love with using book paper that I can't seem to get away from it.  Water colors really do some funky things on it and I really like the way it looks.

Friends With Flair

Don't you just love Fridays?  There are so many reasons to love Friday, but my favorite is Unity's Friends with Flair.  Hopefully, I will have time to visit everyone's blog this week.

A lady at church is praying for a miracle.  She needs surgery on her neck and has the faith that God will heal her.  When I saw this stamp, I thought it would be perfect for her.

Here is a close-up of the flower that I made. 

 

 

I seem to go through fads.  Now I am into this totally random thing where I just stick embellishments here and there.  That is what I did with the pearls.

Friend's with Flair

Friday is so much fun because of Unity's Friends with Flair!  I so look forward to playing and popping around to everyone's blog to see their creations.  It has been a while since I have been able to play along, but that is going to change. : )

 

My friend's daughter lost her fiance in a car accident.  It has been a couple months now and I wanted to make her a card.   I colored it with chalk to get a soft look and really like the way it turned out.

Challenge #228--Fashion is my Passion

This week at Crafty Creations, we have a rather interesting challenge.  It is called "Fashion is my Passion."  Our sponsor is San's Designs and she had this delightful girl image.  I don't know how much fashionable you can get than a feather dress. 

 

I also found a set of sentiments there also with saying from the Big Bang Theory.  I had to buy them and they make me smile every time.  You can get them here.

Challenge #226--Let's Get Sketchy!

I got to host the challenge this week at Crafty Creations, so I decided to create to use a sketch as inspiration for the challenge.  I used to love making sketches with my BFF Joni and kind of miss it.  This is one I created several years ago and hope it inspire you in some way. 

 

We have a great sponsor this week with a prize anyone would LOVE to win.  Clearly Besotted Stamps will be giving one lucky winner a GC and who does not love stamps and coordinating dies?

 

 

Here is the card that I created.  I used a stamp and die set to create the teapot and then use embroidery floss to make the accents.  It looks a lot better IRL, but hopefully you get the idea.
