Here is a card that I made for a challenge over at Piece of Scrap. They are having a summer long crop and so far I have found the challenges fun! Anyway, the first challenge was to use a border. I decided to use one of my new PTI dies to make a border for this card. Of course, I used a Unity Stamp. Right now I am in love with their stamps and seem to use them on everything. hahaha
I also made another one for this challenge, but can't post it until the 25th. hahaha Now that will keep you in suspense won't it.

Card Share--Unity Stamps
I have completely fallen in love with Unity Stamps. My friend Beth posted a challenge at Scrappin' Mojo, so of course I had to use one of my Unity stamps. This set is called "your wings exist." Can't you just feel the wind blowing?
Here is a different angle of her dress. I used puff dots to make it look like it is blowing in the wind. I just loved the way it turned out.
Well, thanks for looking and I hope you have a fun and scrappy day!

Christmas Card Challenge
Christmas is only 198 days away and I don't want to be rushing around at the last minute making all my Christmas Cards. Therefore, I am making them every month this year. Over at the ABC Christmas Challenge Blog, they are on the letter K and it is for Keep it Simple.
Here is a coordinating tag for the challenge at Scrappin Mojo. I still need to punch the hole in it and add the twine. Sorry. I got a little excited and forgot to do that before I took the picture.
All the papers are from My Minds Eye 12 Days of Christmas collection. Thanks for looking and I hope you have a good day!

Bo
Several years ago, we rescued a St. Bernard from the local Humane Society. He was starved and neglected. His coat is very thich and heavy, so we get him clipped in the spring. By Fall, his coat has grown back in and he is nice and warm for the winter.
Here he is before.....
That is Molly down in the corner. Talk aboutt a bad dog! LOL
Thanks for looking! He really is a sweetie!

And here he is after!
He LOVES getting his hair cut! He just layed on the floor of the garage and let us work. This is one of my favorite pictures. If he could talk, he would be saying...."Hi Mom! What cha want to talk about?" LOL
Thanks for looking! He really is a sweetie!

Flowers
I bought some flowers at Walmart for my hanging baskets. Look how they turned out! Have you ever seen so many flowers? I was afraid they would die because the flowers are covering all the leaves and the leaves need to sun for photosynthesis.
Sorry for the blurry picture, but you get the idea! Have you ever seen so many blooms?

Recycled 2 liter bottles.
Pinterest really is an amazing place. After browsing for several minutes....well, more like hours, I got inspired to create my own form or glowing orb using a solor light. Here is what we created!
Here is what they look like after dark. We took the pictures in the janitors closet at school because it was the darkest place we could find. hahaha
I don't have step by step directions, but all we did was cut the top and the bottom off of the 2 liter bottle. When we taped the solar light onto the top. We used tissue paper and Mod Podge to decorate them and finally sprayed them with a water repellant sealant. If I make another one, here are the changes I would make.
1. Decorate the inside of the bottle instead of the outside.
2. Use hot glue to adhere the solar light to the bottle instead of electrical tape.
3. Decorate and seal the 2 liter bottle BEFORE adding the solar light.
Thanks for looking!

May's Card Kit Reveal.....With CARDS!
Hello my friends!
This month Beth sent out this amazing card kit! I have rubbed my hands over all the different pieces many times. Aren't new scrappy supplies just wonderful?!?!
This is the kit that just keeps on giving. I wish I had more time because I know I could have created at least six more cards! Thanks Beth for putting together such a fun kit.
Here are my cards.
Look how fun! This was so cute and I love how the image was punched into a tag.
I am giving this one to my great neice for 8th grade graduation. I added the sentiment "best wishes" and thought the strawberries were just adorable.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you check out the other ladies in our group. They are so creative that I am sure you will be amazed at that they create.
