Card Reveal

Each month, four of us participate in a swap.  We each take turns sending out a kit-of-the-month to the other gals and then we reveal our creations on a specific date.  This month, it was my turn to send out the kit.  I had such great ideas in my head, but it didn't turn out like I imagined.  Here is what everyone received.  Everyone also received a piece of twine.  I forgot to include it in this image.  All the patterned papers are from Jilly Bean and the stamped images are from Unity.

Anyway, here is what I created.

On the card, I tried a new technique I saw on Pinterest.  If I was a good blogger, I would include the link for you, but I just discovered that I am not a very good pinner either because I forgot to pin it!  Since I ran out of room, the greeting is on the inside of the card.  It reads, "A basket full of Wishes."  If you would like to see what the others created, please follow the links below.  I am sure these ladies created something amazing!  They are a super talented group of gals.

Thanks for looking!

  1. Great projects Mary!! I love your card with the window and how you colored the bicycle. And the tag is great too!! Love the two flowers at the bottom and the pretty lace. THANKS for such a fun kit, I really enjoyed playing with mine!!

  2. Mary these are DARLING! I LOVE them both!!! THANKS for such a WONDERFUL kit! I LOVED everything in it!!!
    Have a GREAT day!!

  3. I scheduled my post to go up this morning, but for some reason it didn't post... Oh, well, it's up now!

Thanks for the GREAT kit, Mary! It was super cute! On Mara and Beth's blog I called the kit "yummy" without realizing it was jillibean SOUP, lol! What a perfect description!

I loved how you inked the lace on the tag, I didn't even think about doing that! And I LOVE the window in the card!

  4. These are fabulous!!
Love the way you framed the bike image...
and I like sentiments on the inside...
they seem a little nakey without them...

    This was a fabulous kit...
    the papers...
    the image...
    the flowers...
    I'm jealous! :)
But isn't reveal day so much fun...
getting to see how everyone interprets everything so differently?
