Carley's Creations

Hey Joni!  Look!  I took pictures!!!

In case any of you don't know, I am not good at taking photographs.  They are usually blurry and I just don't do a good job taking them at all.  For Christmas, my hubby bought me a new camera and I love it.  The pictures are clear and they are super easy to upload to my computer.  With the help of fotoflexer, I can resize them and everything.  Today, I wanted to share what my daughter has been working on at school.

For art class, my daughter had to paint a picture on glass for one of her projects.  She loves Maurice Sendak's illustrations in "Where the Wild Things Are."  Here is her creation based on his work.  The classroom lights are glaring off the glass,  so I hope that does not distort the picture too much.

She also painted the doorway into my classroom.  Our classroom walls are a yucky shade of beige, so she really brightened them up!

Thanks for looking!
