Goodbye Christmas

This year, Carley wanted to change the colors on our big tree.  We did away with the purple and added in the lime green.  I really like the way it turned out.  The tulle garland was Pinterest inspired.  It looked to quick and easy, but let me tell you.  You are looking at about 6 hours our time.

The tree in the morning room is one of my favorites.  It displays all the ornaments my kids at school give me for Christmas.  Some of the ornaments are several years old.

The last tree for this year is the one in the dining room.

We usually put up another tree with Santa ornaments on it, but because of my surgery, we got behind.  Lord willing, there will be next year. : )

This year, Doug got what he really wanted for Christmas.

I hope you have a great start to the New Year!

  2. Have you always used a bow with ribbon on the top of your trees? This is the first year that I've noticed the use of bows on trees... I tried it on ours, but our tree was too FAT for the ribbon we got. I should have used wider ribbon. Oh well, as you say... next year...

Thanks for sharing your trees. I love that smile on Doug's face!
